"I've seen how being in the right room can change a career, spark confidence, or lead someone to start something new."
crewcial was born from a simple frustration: in tech, opportunity often depends less on competence and more on access. Access to the right rooms, the right people, and the right conversations. In Sweden, around 80% of jobs are found through networks.
I've spent years attending and creating tech events, working close to both companies and communities. Even with insider access, finding the right events took time and effort. At the same time, I met talented people — especially women and newcomers to Sweden — who didn't lack skills, but lacked a way in.
I've seen how being in the right room can change a career, spark confidence, or lead someone to start something new. I've also felt how closed those rooms can be, especially as a female founder building an AI-driven product in a space shaped by informal networks, links in invite-only Whatsapp channels, and what imposter syndrome feels like.
crewcial exists to lower those barriers. We make tech events and communities easier to discover, so more people can find where they belong — earlier, and with intention. To fight loneliness, and to boost the tech ecosystem.
Because talent is everywhere. Opportunity shouldn't be.

Meet Amalia
Founder and CEO of crewcial (or as she jokes, "Chief Everywhere Officer"). A regular at tech events who has spent years organizing and attending events, experiencing both the power of the right connections and the barriers that keep talented people out.
crewcial is her answer to the question: how can we make tech more accessible, one event at a time?
